Life enjoy Corona!!
As I write my first blog we are in the 40th day of lockdown. While some of us are really scared of their jobs, some of us a really having a ball.
Some like me are in the middle, having mixed feelings, of what next. Not surprising enough, astrology, numerology is more in demand than ever before , most of the predictions are betting on 20th May for things to be back on track.
Also not to forget what a boon in disguise this COVID-19 has been. It has provided a much needed break , if not anything else, Mother Nature has never been this happy before. I see the birds chriping and wooing each other.
That brings me to the Million dollar question ...why this picture?
There are 2 possible reasons for this:-
1. The virus does not have much liking to alchohol.
2. With the government raising the prices of alchohol to 70% in Delhi and 50% in Mumbai, these empty bottle remind me of the "good times" plus would go down as great soveniors.
Although it has been a great decision to lockdown the country pretty early, but I keep on getting this ridiculous dreams of the virus getting spread. The enemy forces of the country using the situation to their advantage. The amount of damage a person infected by the virus can cause, is worse than a time bomb.
Also I rememeber Mr Bill Gates warning the world 5 years ago, of a possible epedemic/pandemic, spreading across the world. Today probably we might be more prepared to save the world from a possible Alien attack, as compared to the pandemic.
The economy as a whole wasn't exactly at its peak, the pandemic was a nail in the coffin. The pandemic would change the ways of working

forever ,some would call it disruption. As is stated by the IT companies, work from home would become a part of their contracts with their clients. TCS has declared of plan of shifting 75% of its staff to a work from home business model. There has been a big change in the buying behaviour of the customers at large, I am sure most of the AI algorithms and predictive models are having a tough time collating data, so much for replacing Humans eh!!
There have been several bomb blasts,riots,terrorist attacks in Mumbai, the city which never sleeps, has finally been tied to the bed by the lockdown. Personally I got a lot of to time to spend with my family, serve my ageing parents , watch Ramayana . The response to Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana is something which came as a surprise to many. In the age of Netflix,prime,internet,cable et all, viewers chose to flood DD. Truly life comes full circle!!
For those who worry too much, Frankly there were much worse times the humandkind has seen. There was the plague in 1920's more so there were worst diseases than COVID-19. Remember leprosy, it was possibly the worst disease I could think of. Today the world stands in a better position to handle the pandemic than ever before. So Life enjoy Corona!!
